Hey everyone. I am sorry for the lack
of blogs as my time in Okinawa has been eventful to say the least. I am currently residing in Yomitan, Okinawa
which is this little ghetto village, lol. I've actually walked around most of Yomitan almost to Kadena. Thanks to a good friend, Rie, I've gotten
a lot of help of getting to know the town.
Now, my actual arrive date to Japan was on Monday, February 8th, 2009. My plane came in around 6pm~ish. But the town is nice, really. It just looks
really ghetto. People are very polite. The sad thing is how Americanized Okinawa truly is, it feels like being in Ann Arbor since signs are half
English and most people here speak English.
You can see from my pictures that
Japan isn't that bad. Most signs are in Japanese with the hot-spots containing English for ignorant foreigners... by that I pretty much mean the
Marine Corps. And no, I am not dogging them, but they truly mess up everything for anyone who is non-Japanese due to their lack of discipline.
But I am having a great time, I suppose. I've met some great people and I already knew some awesome people, like Rie ♥ .
Sorry my pictures aren't actually that awesome since I took them with my blackberry. I'm sure one jerk bag is out there right now blogging it up on his
sight that I stole the pictures from Google. So, I'll give you a minute to search. You'll find them on my
Myspace. No where else. So, go ahead. I'll wait. Anyways, there will be more photos to come considering today is Friday so I'll be out and about
this entire weekend. :)
