It seems as if I am writing every other day... boo! So, Kentucky was wild! Even though I was stuck in the Hollers, I was having a great time with my
cousins. The sole purpose of the trip was to pick up my cousin Marlo.
Obviously in this photograph, Marlo is the only male. We arrived home yesterday and got stuck in traffic along I-275 after the Michigan Welcome Center
(around exit 9) it was backed up until exit 20 (I-75) when I got off, but the highway appeared backed up more well after the exit to I-75.
As you can imagine, I was one pissed off person having to sit on a three lane highway that had two lanes closed for an hour to make it up the road
eleven miles. So, what should have been an eight hour trip turned into a twelve hour trip since the highway in Cincinnati was being worked on, too.
If you are curious about the phone, it's on these beams of my cousin's house, since she is in the hollers of Kentucky, she does not receive much of
a signal, so placing it there allows it to have a bar or two and she can get calls rather than missing them. Which I do not know how she can just sit
with her door open all day because I was freezing even though the weather was still around 21° C. My ideal weather is one that is around 30°. Ah,
warmth.
So, I got an email from this girl who said she wanted a page about Japanese. Needless to say, I decided to work on a page for Japanese rules, and
guides, and so forth to help those learning the language advance in their progress. I'm not going to lie, Japanese is a very complicated language
and I am a firm believer you should NOT learn Japanese through romaji!!! Japan does NOT use it, so there is no point. Yes, you can romanize
こんにちは
to kon'nichi wa, but you won't see a sign, like... "Gyuniku yasai iri otsuka no bonkare" no, you will see it displayed as
「牛肉野菜入り大塚のボンカレー」.
Anyways, enjoy the site. I am also working on a guestbook! There will be a link on the homepage shortly, along with a link to my Japanese tips.
Don't forget to check out my youtube channel to see tips and grammatical rules! ( ´ ▽ ` )♪
By the way, that is a real advertisement from a Japanese billboard. [translation:"Bonn Otsuka beef
